Biking & Hiking Trails

The rolling Gascony hills are full of hiking and biking trails. You will find a variety of options, including the Brimont - Cap du Bosc 15km trail that passes directly alongside the boundary with the chateau.

Nearby Villages & Sites

The chateau is located just five minutes from the two French villages, Moirax and Laplume. Moirax is home to the famous Cluniac abbey founded in the 11th century and Laplume is a picturesque village perched on a hill with views extending to the borders of the Gers to the south.

Wine Tasting & Tours

The vineyards of Buzet and Brulhois are within 30 minutes. For a special day out head to Bordeaux, less then 90 minutes away, where you can sample grand crus from the legendary estates, including St-Emilion and Pommerol

Food Lovers Paradise

The Lot and Garonne is renowned for its food, mostly notably Agen prunes, Armagnac,  and the variety of produits de canard including fois gras. Mastering the art of sitting around a table and sharing laughter and food with family and friends is part of the way of life in the Lot and Garonne.
